Italian citizens who are registered with AIRE in this Consular jurisdiction, can apply for a passport at the Consulate General of Italy in New York. In order to apply for a passport, it is mandatory to schedule an appointment through the Prenot@mi website. Please note that no fee is due to schedule an appointment.

Applicants are required to check their AIRE registration before booking an appointment, and, if necessary, may request to update their information in the Consular database.
Appointments must always be confirmed by the applicant, using the online portal Prenot@mi, 3 to 10 days prior to the scheduled appointment date.
Should there be no available dates, applicants may request to be put on a waiting list. The system will automatically alert the user if a slot becomes available.
