How to register with Fast It – the online portal for consular services
Italian citizens whose residence is within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Italy in New York must register using the online portal Fast It: https://serviziconsolarionline.esteri.it
PLEASE NOTE: AIRE registration and change of address requests received by mail or email will not be processed.
Fast It offers a more efficient and streamlined application process, which the account holder can follow step by step. Fast It account holders can also access other useful services, as well as submit a change of address request.
To create a Fast It account, you must access the online portal via Internet Explorer o Google Chrome and click on “REGISTRAZIONE”. Once you create an account, you can login in using your email address and password.
A Fast It account, as well as an AIRE registration, are free of charge.
IMPORTANT
Once you create a Fast It account, you must submit a SEPARATE AIRE registration through the system. Creating an account does not mean you are registered in AIRE.
You must fill in personal information EXACTLY as it appears on your Italian Passport.
If you do not have an Italian passport, fill in information EXACTLY as it appears on your birth certificate, issued by the Italian municipality or Consulate/Embassy abroad.
Middle names should be included in the first name field “NOME”.
Date of birth must be in European format: DAY / MONTH / YEAR.
Please note: In the event that the Consulate learns of an Italian citizen’s residence abroad who has not submitted (or does not wish to submit) a formal request for registration, the Consulate may submit an AIRE registration request to the Comune in Italy (this is called Iscrizione d’Ufficio).
