Please be advised that from 12:00 pm on February 12, 2026, until 6:00 pm on February 17, 2026, the VIS operating system will undergo a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical intervention that will result in the temporary suspension of the receipt and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas. This suspension will affect the operations of the visa office at the Consulate General of Italy in New York.
Please note that, in order to minimize inconvenience to users, appointments that have already been scheduled will be rescheduled to the days immediately before or after the period affected by the operational shutdown, taking into proper account priority needs and urgent cases.
