Opening of Paper and Digital Condolence Book for Pope Francis

Following the decision of the Prime Minister’s Office to establish five days of national mourning for the passing of the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Francis, a condolence book, both in paper and digital, has been opened at the Consulate of Italy in New York for those who wish to express their condolences for the death of Pope Francis. Once closed, this book will be transmitted to the competent Apostolic Nunciature.

It is possible to sign the book at the Consulate of Italy in New York (690 Park Avenue, 10065 New York) between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, until Friday, April 25th, by explaining the reason for your visit at the entrance and showing your identification document. Alternatively, condolences can be sent via email to newyork.urp@esteri.it, specifying “Condolence Book for Pope Francis” in the subject line.
