The Consulate General of Italy in New York is pleased to invite the public to visit the photographic exhibition “Fra Nuvole e Vento: Gente di Civita”, by New York photographer Brian Stanton.
Stanton photographed the evocative landscape and people of Civita di Bagnoregio from 2016 to 2020, capturing the stone ridges and clay valleys that surround the village while building significant relationships with the few remaining residents. His images portray centuries-old traditions and reveal the soul of this long-isolated community.
You can visit the exhibition, by appointment, until May 6th, 2024, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2pm to 4pm.
