On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition “Moroni: The Riches of Renaissance Portraiture”, a major retrospective of nearly two dozen of portraits currently on display at the Frick Collection from February 21st to June, 2nd 2019, the Consulate general of Italy in New York will host a talk between Xavier Salomon, Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator, Frick Collection, and Arturo Galansino, Director Geneal of the Palazzo Strozzi Foundation and Co-curator of the Moroni’s exhibition.
The conversation, which will take place on Monday February 18th at 6 pm, will be moderated by Mario Calvo-Platero and will focus on the issue of art exhibitions as a cultural bridge between New York and the Italian communities.
