Please visit the \u201cModulistica\u201d section, for the appropriate Form (Modulo Naturalizzazione).<\/p>\n<p>Italian citizens who lost their Italian citizenship, are able to reacquire it, in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/consnewyork.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/cittadinanza\/4223-2\/\">By statement of intent, pursuant to Law 91\/1992, art. 17 par. 1<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/consnewyork.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/cittadinanza\/how-to-apply-for-citizenship-by-right-of-residency\/\">By establishing residency in Italy, pursuant to Law 91\/1992, art. 13<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Pursuant to\u00a0Law no. 91\/1992, which came into effect on August 16th\u00a01992, choosing to become a citizen of another Country no longer results in the automatic loss of Italian citizenship, unless Italian citizenship is formally renounced (art. 11 Law n. 91\/92).
