How can I schedule an appointment?

Some offices use an online reservation portal called PrenotaOnLine, others request that an email be sent to their dedicated address to schedule an appointment.

How can I check the status of my application?

The office who is assisting you shall inform you that the procedure is completed. If further information is necessary, it will contact you directly. Applicants who used the Fast-It portal to seek assistance will be able to check their case’s progress through the portal.

Which payment methods are accepted?

What is an Apostille and what is its purpose?

In compliance with The Hague Convention of October 5 1961, all documents issued by a US government agency and that need to be filed with an Italian administration office, such as civil status deeds like a birth, marriage, and death certificate or a divorce judgment, need to be authenticated. The same applies to affidavits legalized by a “notary public”.
